Description

Kamal Musah (M.Sc. '16), a design-in technology strategist at Microsoft, will provide undergraduate engineering students with access to underrepresented minority role models with whom many of our students share salient aspects of their identity. These discussions provide information relevant in assisting all of our students to function productively in a diverse workplace.

Kamal Musah is currently a design-in technology strategist at Microsoft where he leads the growing Internet of things (IoT), Server and Edge AI engagements with Lenovo across both commercial and consumer platforms. Prior to this, Musah worked in the Intel sales and marketing group where he was part of Team Microsoft managing design win efforts on the Azure team, and before that the Surface team. Prior to that, he was in the Bay Area on Team Alphabet supporting IoT business development. Musah has a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Morgan State University and a master's degree in engineering management from Johns Hopkins University. On a personal note, Musah enjoys reading stock charts, writing, working out, and giving back to the community.

This event is hosted by the School of Engineering Undergraduate Academic Affairs/Engineering Advising.
