CADRE Research-in-Progress Meeting
Description
Please join the COVID-19 and Data Research Evaluation (CADRE) Committee for the next Research-in-Progress meeting to discuss SCARP-lite. SCARP-lite was built using data from the JH-CROWN Registry and will soon be moved into Epic to support COVID-19 clinical care.
Guests will learn how a multidisciplinary team of informaticians, statisticians, and clinicians curated data from JH-CROWN to train a machine learning model to predict the probability of progression to severe illness and death for patients admitted with COVID-19, and then rapidly integrate it into Epic for clinical use.
Speakers include:
- Shannon Wongvibulsin, medicine student, Johns Hopkins SOM MD/PhD Program
- Matthew Robinson, assistant professor, Johns Hopkins Division of Infectious Disease
- Brian Garibaldi, director, Johns Hopkins Biocontainment Unit
