Rapid Response: Digital Organizing in the 2020 Election
Description
COVID-19 dramatically limited in-person campaigning and canvassing for the 2020 election and for policy advocacy campaigns. As a result, campaigns had to move completely, or nearly completely, online (much as college courses moved online since last spring). Fortunately, social media, geofencing, and data matching technologies provided a powerful work-around to these limitations, though with different advantages and disadvantages compared to face-to-face efforts. This webinar explores these workarounds for campaigning in the time of COVID-19.
Join the MA in Communication and Alan Rosenblatt, digital and social media strategist, researcher, and professor, for the first event in the MA in Communication's new series, Rapid Respond.
