State Affairs Showcase Series: Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center

This virtual discussion series covers a variety of Johns Hopkins programs that have a direct impact on the quality of life of Marylanders.

This event will highlight the work of Dina George Lansey, assistant director for diversity and inclusion in clinical research at the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center at Johns Hopkins. Sheree Sample-Hughes, speaker pro tem of the Maryland House of Delegates, will moderate. Lansey's work, supported in part by the Maryland Cigarette Restitution Fund, seeks to increase diversity in clinical trials by specifically identifying and eliminating barriers to participation in clinical trials.
