Description

Join this six-week virtual experience of yoga, sisterhood, self-care, and connection for Black Women. With social injustice, discrimination, civil unrest, and systemic health disparities, it is even more imperative that Black Women have spaces where they feel safe, seen, and supported.

Nazaahah Amin is a certified yoga therapist and founder of Ama Wellness. Her therapeutic practice specializes in alleviating anxiety, depression, race-based stress, and intergenerational trauma in Black Women. Amin received an M.S. in yoga therapy from the Maryland University of Integrative Health where she currently serves as a clinical supervisor and adjunct faculty. She facilitates private and group workshops at the Eating Recovery Center, Baltimore City Public Schools, and at her studio in West Baltimore.

This event is hosted by the Black Faculty & Staff Association and Healthy at Hopkins.
