Description

Dennis E. Seymour, whose father is full Eastern Band Cherokee from Madison County, North Carolina, and whose mother is German and English from Ohio with a reported Iroquois ancestor several generations back, will give an invoking and empowering lecture as the annual Indigenous People's Day Evening Lecture. Seymour is a returning lecturer, and his presentation last year was not only wonderful, but also eye-opening and thought-provoking. Learn more about the speaker.

The event is hosted by the Indigenous Students at Hopkins and the Office of Multicultural Affairs. This is an opportunity to celebrate and honor Native Americans and Indigenous People and commemorates their histories and cultures.
