Description

NAMI Metropolitan Baltimore's Young Adult Connection Support Group is a free, peer-led support group for young adults living with mental illness. Participants will gain insight from hearing the challenges and successes of others and have the opportunity to share their own.

NAMI's support groups are unique because they follow a structured model to ensure participants in the group have an opportunity to be heard and to get what they need. The group encourages empathy, productive discussion, and a sense of community.

This event is part of NAMI Metropolitan Baltimore's week-long college mental health campaign, #IWillListen, taking place Oct. 4-10. Johns Hopkins is a supporting partner of this series. NAMI is the National Alliance on Mental Illness.
