Description

How many times a day do we ask "how are you?" without truly listening for a response? In this interactive fishbowl discussion, participants will talk about how they're really doing, their attitudes and beliefs about mental health, and how to take action to promote mental wellness for ourselves and others. Participants will cycle through three breakout rooms for different conversations about mental health. At the end of this session, participants will have a deeper understanding of their own mental health and will be better equipped to listen to friends and loved ones.

This event is part of NAMI Metropolitan Baltimore's week-long college mental health campaign, #IWillListen, taking place Oct. 4-10. Johns Hopkins is a supporting partner of this series. NAMI is the National Alliance on Mental Illness.
