Description

Join Sen. Barbara Mikulski, representing Maryland, and Lester Spence, professor of political science at Johns Hopkins, as they dip into ideas of politics as a tool for creating change. What does it mean to represent "everyone" and how do politicians define the greater good? How do our political behaviors play out beyond the walls of the voting booth? When do we know when we've "won" a political battle? How can you participate in shaping our new world?

This livestream will be moderated by Shauna Bryce (A&S '93), incoming director of legal recruiting and professional development of Steptoe. The event is hosted by the Black Faculty and Staff Association and Hopkins at Home.

This livestream is stamped by Common Question.
