Critical Coping Drop-in Skills Group: R.A.I.N.
Description
In these times of uncertainty and stress, it's more important than ever to learn psychological tools for coping with the anxiety, trauma, and distress that interfere with daily life. This drop-in group offered by the Johns Hopkins Counseling Center for all Johns Hopkins students provides weekly education and practice in a different skill each week, drawn from key components of trauma symptom management. These skills can assist with anxiety, mood, sleep disturbance, and trauma and promote general well-being.
This week focuses on R.A.I.N., a four-step process for using mindfulness in difficult times.
