UHS Virtual Pilates Mat Class
Description
UHS Wellness–sponsored Virtual Pilates mat classes resume on Sept. 27. The Pilates method is a system that develops abdominal strength, increases flexibility, improves posture and alignment, and corrects movement patterns.
The classical mat work introduces Pilates fundamentals, beginner, intermediate, and advanced exercises culminating in a challenging, flowing workout of more than 35 mat exercises. Fall classes place over two series that are each four weeks long:
- September/October Series: Sept. 27, Oct. 4, Oct. 18, Oct. 25 (no class Oct. 11)
- November/December Series: Nov. 8, Nov. 15, Nov. 22, Dec. 6 (no class Nov. 29)
