Description

Stories have power. NAMI Metro Baltimore believes that sharing stories about mental health and recovery breaks down the stigma about mental illness. In this presentation, attendees will hear from several individuals about the challenges and triumphs of living with a mental health condition. Attendees will also hear common threads in these stories and may be able to relate to the feelings of isolation, shame, hope, and support.

Come listen, reflect on your own mental health, and ask questions.

This event is part of NAMI Metro Baltimore's week-long college mental health campaign, #IWillListen, taking place Oct. 4-10. Johns Hopkins is a supporting partner of this series. NAMI is the National Alliance on Mental Illness.
