Description

The goal of the Data Manager's Interest Group is to create an environment where data managers from throughout Johns Hopkins can meet to share expertise and express the challenges of their unique roles in the research enterprise.

The September panel discussion topic is COVID-19 clinical research and speakers include Daniel Ford and Christopher Chute.

Daniel E. Ford, professor of medicine and psychiatry, director of the Institute for Clinical and Translational Research, and vice dean for clinical investigation at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, will present "Has the COVID Pandemic Changed Clinical Research?."

Christopher G. Chute, Bloomberg Distinguished professor of health informatics, medicine, public health, and nursing, deputy director at the Institute for Clinical and Translational Research, and chief research information officer at Johns Hopkins Medicine, will discuss "Electronic Health Record Data in the Time of COVID: The National COVID Cohort Collaborative (N3C)."

This event is hosted by the Johns Hopkins Institute for Clinical and Translational Research.
