Description

Witness the advent of a brand-new field of research. This week's episode of Music and Mind LIVE with Renée Fleming partners with the International Arts + Mind Lab and the Aspen Institute for the exciting launch of the NeuroArts Blueprint Initiative. This project is designed to articulate an emerging, cross-disciplinary area of study at the crossroads of health, wellbeing, and the arts.

Joining as guests will be Ruth Katz from the Aspen Institute, Susan Magsamen from the Johns Hopkins International Arts + Mind Lab, and Emmeline Edwards from the NIH's National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health. Edwards will also discuss how NeuroArts fits in to the idea of whole-person integrative health care and the larger impact of the arts on health.

Music and Mind LIVE is a weekly, online series with Renée Fleming, in conversation with scientists and practitioners exploring the powerful impact of music and arts on human health and the brain. Learn more about the speakers online.
