In the next edition of Looking Forward @ Johns Hopkins, Jessica Fanzo, Bloomberg distinguished professor of global food and agriculture ethics and policy, will present "The Global Food Systems Dashboard: A Tool to Guide Us Towards Healthy and Sustainable Diets."

Fanzo is an expert in the fields of diet, nutrition, and food security who leads the university's collaborative efforts in ethics, global food, and agricultural policy. She focuses on multi-sectoral and system approaches to ensure that people have high-quality nutrition and diets, and has developed and coordinated large-scale applied research projects in in sub-Saharan Africa, South Asia, and East Africa. Recently, she launched the Global Food Systems Dashboard, which provides decision makers with data to make actionable decisions to improve their food systems.

Looking Forward @ Johns Hopkins features distinguished Hopkins faculty from a range of research disciplines who have been recognized for their scholarship, research, teaching, and service. Research presentations are followed by question and answer sessions, and seek to bridge the gaps that have emerged as a result of physical social distancing and the mandatory cancellations of campus-based lectures.
