Description
Steven M. Schneebaum, practitioner-in-residence and interim director of the International Law and Organizations Program, and Nina Gardner, adjunct lecturer in international law and organizations, will discuss "Historic Year in Law: A Review of the Supreme Court's Term" for the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies.
The U.S. Supreme Court has just completed its most momentous term in years. Many of its decisions address deeply significant and controversial aspects of American life, including the place of religion in the public square, the rights of LGBTQ individuals, the perennial issue of abortion, the powers of the presidency, and the role of the Court itself.
