"About Us" Virtual Book Club
Description
Join Johns Hopkins Student Disability Services and Students for Disability Justice for a virtual book club to read About Us: Essays from the Disability Series of the New York Times. At each meeting, attendees will discuss essays written by people with a wide range of disabilities and reflect upon the 30th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
- June 9: Justice & Belonging, moderated by Terri Massie-Burrell, Student Disability Services
- June 16: Working & Navigating, moderated by the Bloomberg School of Public Health Mental Health Grad Network
- June 23: Coping & Love
- June 30: Family & Joy
