Bioethics Seminar: Our Problem is Power
Description
Olúfẹ́mi O. Táíwò, an assistant professor of philosophy at Georgetown University, will give a talk entitled "Our Problem Is Power" as part of the Berman Institute of Bioethics Seminar Series.
In recent years, activist and academic work emphasizing the development of anti-racist thought or moral character has increased in popularity. But, Táíwò will argue, the victories we need to win won't be won in our hearts and minds, or at Thanksgiving dinner. Táíwò will argue for a collaborative way of thinking about multi-racial struggle against racism.
