Baltimore in the early 19th century was home to a rising stoneware industry and a bustling port town where high-style imported ceramics could enter the market. In this final session of Homewood's Wednesday Webinar series, guests will explore Homewood's ceramics collection and learn about aesthetic trends produced in England, China, and Baltimore and how those trends made their way into the early American home.
The webinar will consist of a 20-minute online video followed by a live Q&A and discussion with Homewood's curators.
