Description

The goal of the webinar series is to provide an interdisciplinary forum to advance evidence-based decision making for COVID-19. Researchers from Johns Hopkins and elsewhere in economics, epidemiology, (bio)statistics, ethics, systems science, and beyond as well as anyone seeking to learn more about emerging models to inform COVID-19 decision making are welcome.

In the inaugural event, Nick Papageorge, associate professor of economics from the Krieger School of Arts and Sciences, and David Dowdy, associate professor of epidemiology in the Bloomberg School of Public Health, will engage in a conversation about their recent post entitled: "Economists and Epidemiologists, Not At Odds, but in Agreement: We Need a Broad-Based COVID-19 Testing Survey." Participants will then be encouraged to engage in a dynamic discussion to share diverse perspectives on research and policy.

Please attend the event by using the Zoom link. This event is hosted by the Modeling and Policy Hub of the COVID-19 Research Response Program.
