Description

The Undergraduate Sociology Committee and Johns Hopkins Department of Sociology will host an open-forum social event discussing sociological impacts of COVID-19. Guest speakers Alexandre White, assistant professor of sociology; Stefanie DeLuca, professor of sociology; and Durgesh Solanki, doctoral candidate in sociology, will discuss urban inequality, social policy, the sociology of epidemics on COVID-19, and much more. The event is expected to last about an hour with a casual roundtable discussion format. No background knowledge is required, and all interested majors are welcome.
