During the HopkinsLocal Small Business Town Hall: Understanding the Impact of COVID-19 and Preparing for the Future," small business attendees will discuss:

  • The global and regional economic outlook as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic
  • The steps your business should take to support employee health and align with public health guidelines
  • Best practice examples of how to adapt ways of thinking to adjust your business strategy
  • Resources provided by Baltimore's universities to assist businesses in short and longer-term engagements

Speakers include:

  • Alicia Wilson, vice president for economic development at Johns Hopkins University and Health System
  • Mac McComas, senior program manager at Johns Hopkins 21st Century Cities Initiative
  • Joshua Sharfstein, vice dean for public health practice and community engagement, professor of practice at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and director of the Bloomberg American Health Initiative
  • Rick Milter, professor of practice at Johns Hopkins Carey Business School
