Description

LinkedIn can be a top resource for job searches and connections. In a continuation of the Communication Program's discussion of LinkedIn's tools, this webinar, "Expanding Connections: Networking and Job Opportunities Through LinkedIn," will explore the avenues of networking and career development through job searches and expanding connections through this social media platform.

LinkedIn grants exposure to a multitude of companies and users across the platform, all of whom may create important connections with you. Hosts Megan Tucker, adjunct faculty in the Johns Hopkins Department of Communication, and Chloe Clarke, CEO of The Contented Canine, will discuss how you can enhance your LinkedIn presence with certifications, mentor connections, discussion groups, and endorsements.

This webinar builds on the previous webinar on LinkedIn, "Building Networks and Personal Marketing," in which Tucker discussed how to launch and cultivate a LinkedIn presence that can help users write a profile that stands out as well as provide tips for finding appropriate connections using Clarke's LinkedIn profile as an example of expert ways to use the platform.
