Description

Scott Wilson, Johns Hopkins assistant professor of biomedical engineering, will discuss vaccine design, including his work designing a glycopolymer-based vaccine platform that is currently being tested for COVID-19.

This event the last installment of the Johns Hopkins Biomedical Engineering Society's three-part virtual speaker series intended to give students insight into Johns Hopkins' role in fighting the COVID-19 pandemic through diagnosis, treatment, and tracking. This series will feature leading figures from the Johns Hopkins Hospital Emergency Department, Center for Systems Science and Engineering graduate students responsible for producing the COVID-19 Tracking Map, and a presentation on vaccine design from Scott Wilson, Johns Hopkins assistant professor of biomedical engineering.
