Digital Diversity Days Series: Critical Race Theory
Description
Digital Diversity Days is a three-part series that will focus on the introduction of critical race theory, Asian critical (AsianCrit) theory, and Latino/a/x critical (LatCrit) theory, hosted by the Office of Multicultural Affairs. The Digital Diversity Days are designed to engage students, faculty, and staff around race, identity development, and intersectionality through the framework of critical race theory.
Schedule:
- April 16 — Session I: The Introduction to Critical Race Theory with Margaret Montoya, emeritus professor of law and senior adviser to the executive vice president of University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center
- April 23 — Session II: Asian Critical Race Theory with Robert S. Chang, professor of law and executive director of the Fred T. Korematsu Center for Law and Equality
- April 30 — Session II: Latino/a/x Critical Race Theory with Elizabeth M. Iglesias, professor of law at the University of Miami School of Law
