Join Johns Hopkins Medicine's A Woman's Journey for the first of four webcasts, "COVID-19: A Child's Perspective," with critical health information as the coronavirus pandemic persists.

Speakers:

  • Rachel Thornton, Johns Hopkins Children's Center pediatrician and associate professor of pediatrics, will review the vulnerability of children and symptoms of COVID-19 in children and adolescents and when parents should contact their doctor.
  • Hal Kronsberg, pediatric psychiatrist and instructor of psychiatry and behavioral sciences at Johns Hopkins, shares strategies to discuss COVID-19 with children and adolescents and considers ways in which anxiety and stress may manifest in children.
