Description

The School of Advanced International Studies Foreign Policy Institute is pleased to announce its newest report launch of "Borrowing a Boat Out to Sea: The Chinese Military's Use of Social Media for Influence Operations," by Nathan Beauchamp-Mustafaga, policy analyst at the RAND Corporation, and Michael Chase ('02, Ph.D. '08), Foreign Policy Institute fellow and senior political scientist at RAND Corporation.

Beauchamp-Mustafaga and Chase's publication is an in-depth study based on over two years of research into the People's Liberation Army's social media activities and Chinese language sources. It examines the People's Liberation Army's overt influence operations, such as external propaganda efforts, as well as covert hostile political interference operations against foreign countries. The report can be found online.
