Description
The coronavirus outbreak has exposed how intricately interdependent we all are and also the vulnerabilities baked into our societal and economic structures. As part of the SNF Agora Institute's new webcast series, "SNF Agora Conversations: The Politics and Policy of COVID-19," this conversation will consider, as we address the crisis, how we might imagine a new economy that puts people, not profits, at the center and works to promote human flourishing.
Panelists include:
- Angus Burgin, associate professor of history at Johns Hopkins University
- Margaret Levi, director of the Center for Advanced Study in the Behavioral Sciences and professor of political science at Stanford University
- Anne-Marie Slaughter, CEO of New America
- Hahrie Han, director of the SNF Agora Institute (moderator)
Please attend the event by joining the webcast.
