Fighting Climate Change Now: Creating Opportunities for Collaboration and Funding

Description

Faculty and staff from across Johns Hopkins are invited to join the Alliance for a Healthier World for a half-day climate research and action workshop to connect with colleagues to help advance Johns Hopkins' approach to solving this unfolding crisis.

Attendees will also learn about best practices for multidisciplinary research and hear about new grant opportunities to fight climate change: More than $500,000 in grants will be made available to Johns Hopkins faculty teams.

Featured speakers include:

• Sunil Kumar, provost and senior vice president for academic affairs at Johns Hopkins
• Jigar Shah, president and co-founder of Generate Capital and co-host of The Energy Gang podcast
