Celebrate the opening of the new focus display Votes & Petticoats: Suffrage Postcards, with the student curators. Light refreshments will be served.
The installation features nearly fifty postcards drawn from the Sheridan Libraries' Special Collections that represent the visual culture surrounding the Votes for Women campaign during the early 20th century. The culmination of a Fall 2019 SOUL course, the installation is presented as part of the university's Women's Suffrage Centennial Commemoration.
