Description
The Johns Hopkins Society for Biomaterials Chapter, in collaboration with the University of Maryland Society for Biomaterials Chapter, will hosting the annual Mid-Atlantic Biomaterials Day, a research conference featuring speakers from all fields of biomaterials, including research, industry, and consulting. This year's theme will focus on "Cross-disciplinary Biomaterials: Innovative Solutions for a Better World." Learn more about the event online.
Submit a rapid-fire talk on biomaterials-related research by Feb. 23. Submit a poster presentation on biomaterials-related research by Feb. 27. The top presentations will receive an award from the conference.
Speakers will include:
- Peter Searson, professor of materials science and engineering at Johns Hopkins University
- Erin Lavik, professor of chemical, biochemical, and environmental engineering at the University of Maryland Baltimore County
- Chris Boyer, bioprinting process engineer at CELLINK
This event will feature a catered lunch.
