Virginia Herrmann, head of the junior research group Forging the Political Landscape in Iron Age Turkey and co-director of the Chicago-Tübingen (Eberhard Karls University) Archaeological Project in Samal, will give a talk entitled "In the Midst of Mighty Kings: Urbanization and Trade at Bronze and Iron Age Zincirli, Turkey" for the Department of Near Eastern Studies.
