Thread Information Session
Description
Come learn about Thread's volunteer structure and all of the opportunities to get involved with Thread, which engages underperforming high school students confronting significant barriers outside of the classroom by providing each one with a family of committed volunteers and increased access to community resources. The information session is hosted by current volunteers and a volunteer recruiter from Thread.
During this magnificent time, we will work to establish a rapport with one another, share meaningful stories, and hold one another accountable.
Thread harnesses the power of relationships to create a new social fabric of diverse individuals deeply engaged with young people facing the most significant opportunity and achievement gaps. Our community is committed to ending social isolation and building and more equitable culture in which everyone thrives. Over 2,500 people from all different backgrounds and organizations are working together to weave the new social fabric in Baltimore.
