Description
Evergreen Museum & Library's popular Music at Evergreen concert series continues with a concert by cellist Zlatomir Fung.
At just 20 years old, Fung is already on the fast track to classical music stardom. In June 2019, he earned first prize at the International Tchaikovsky Competition with his musically dynamic performances of Tchaikovsky's "Variations on a Rococo Theme" and Shostakovich's "Cello Concerto No. 2." Currently a full Kovner Fellowship student at The Juilliard School, Fung has appeared as a soloist with the Boston Pops, the New England Philharmoic, and The Juilliard Orchestra conducted by Itzhak Perlman. He also has been featured on NPR's "From the Top" and "Performance Today."
Ticket includes guided tour of the museum (departs at 12 p.m. or 1 p.m.) and a post-concert reception with the musician.
