Description

The Center for Educational Resources is holding a one-hour workshop on how Gradescope can help attendees grade faster and provide better feedback for their students. A member from the Gradescope team will be presenting the workshop, so this is a great opportunity to ask specific questions about how to use this application available to Johns Hopkins instructors.

Several Johns Hopkins instructors over the past year have been using Gradescope. It has helped them to dramatically reduce the time associated with grading their exams and homework while providing better and faster feedback to their students.

Attendees will learn how to:

  • grade existing exams, homework, and other assignments on Gradescope
  • grade groups of answers at once
  • make rubric changes while grading and apply changes to previously graded work to maintain consistency
  • write each comment only once and apply previously used comments with a click
  • create better rubrics to increase student learning
  • use assignment analytics to gain insight into student learning

TAs and colleagues welcome.
