Description

Please join the School of Public Health's Institute for Health and Social Policy and the Department of Health Policy and Management for a conversation between Dr. Hahrie Han, the inaugural director of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Agora Institute and professor of Political Science at Johns Hopkins University, and Dr. Vivek Murthy, the Department of Health Policy and Management's newest Distinguished Policy Scholar.

Drs. Han and Murthy will talk about the role that civic associations play in mobilizing participation in politics and building power for social and political change as well as the intersection of their research interests in social policy, environmental issues, and democratic revitalization.
