East Asian Studies Speaker Series: Shipu Wang

Dr. Shipu Wang, a professor of Art History at University of California Merced, will give a talk entitled "The Other American Moderns (Or, The Afterlife of a Book)" for the Program in East Asian Studies.

Dr. Wang is the founding director of the UCM art gallery and a founding member of the Global Arts Studies Program. His book The Other American Moderns won the 2018 Georgia O'Keefe Museum Book Prize.
