At a moment when the numbers of people fleeing their countries are at the highest level ever recorded, the Center for Humanitarian Health at the Bloomberg School of Public Health co-sponsors this Stoop Storytelling event that features stories by Baltimore refugees and migrants and the Hopkins students and faculty who work with them. The speakers include:
- Jacob Atem, co-founder and CEO of the Southern Sudan Health Care Organization
- Monica Guerrero Vazquez, executive director of Centro SOL
- Houssam Alnahhas, Sommer Scholar at the Bloomberg School
- Courtland Robinson, deputy director of the Center for Refugee and Disaster Response at the Bloomberg School
- Katherine Narvaez Mena, Sommer Scholar at Bloomberg School
- Lucia Islas, leader of Comite Latino and Angeles de Baltimore (Angels of Baltimore)
- Nancy Glass, professor at the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing
