Description

Johns Hopkins University and the Reginald F. Lewis Museum of Maryland African-American History & Culture present a roundtable discussion with former Black Panther Eddie Conway, Johns Hopkins graduate and lifelong activist Ralph Moore, and Denise Johnson Griffin, a cultural organizer and community activist from West Baltimore, as they discuss their personal experiences as activists in late 1960s Baltimore. Dominique Hazzard, a food justice and youth empowerment activist, will moderate this conversation.

This program is sponsored by the Billie Holiday Project for the Liberation of Arts and the Center for Social Concern at Johns Hopkins University in conjunction with the "Elizabeth Catlett: Artist As Activist" exhibit.
