Description

How does a journalist "parachute" into a new place, navigate (literally and figuratively) the foreign terrain, and produce deeply reported, meaningful stories? In this informal interview and Q&A with the audience, Erik Vance, an award-winning science journalist and Johns Hopkins Science Writing faculty, will join Elias Lopez, Washington Post senior editor, to share stories and insights from his international reporting experience.

This event is hosted by the Science Writing Graduate Program at Johns Hopkins University. A light reception will follow the event at 7 p.m.

Limited parking is available under the building. DuPont Circle is also a close six-minute walk from campus.

This event will be live streamed. The live-stream link will be sent to registrants closer to the date.
