Description

GIS Day is an international day of recognition for users of Geographic Information Systems. At Bloomberg School of Public Health, GIS day includes a poster session that invites faculty, students, and staff to share their experiences in GIS and highlight spatial analysis at the school, across the university, and in the greater Baltimore community. Attendants learn how spatial analysis is being integrated into our health research and practice. This event is hosted by the Spatial Science for Public Health Center.

This year, GIS Day will kick off at 10 a.m. with two keynote speakers sharing their experience applying GIS in the workplace. From 12-2 p.m., the discussion will continue over food and a poster session in Feinstone Hall. To submit a poster for this year's event, please email SSPHC@jhu.edu.

There is also another GIS Day event held by Data Services.
