Compost Your Halloween Pumpkin

Description

Homewood Recycling is hosting Halloween pumpkin composting at two different locations. Before composting your pumpkins, please remove any decorations, candles, and plastic wrappings.

According to the U.S. Department of Energy, Halloween pumpkins add more than 254 million tons of municipal waste to landfills every year. Help reduce incineration waste by going green this Halloween.
