Description

One million Indian security forces are currently occupying the Kashmir region as the Indian government revokes Article 370 and attempts to dissolve the autonomous status of Jammu and Kashmir. An internet and communications blackout has been imposed.

To learn more about this, attend a teach-in at Johns Hopkins with:

  • Dr. Hafsa Kanjwal, an assistant professor of History at Lafayette College
  • Dr. Mona Bhan, an associate professor Anthropology at Syracuse University
  • Dr. Nosheen Ali, an assistant professor of cultural diversity, citizenship, and the environment at the Institute for Educational Development at Aga Kahn University in Karachi, Pakistan, and founder of the alternative research center Karti Dharti
