German Film Screening: "Barbara"

Description

The German Program screens the third film in their film series commemorating 30 years since the fall of the Berlin Wall. The 2012 film Barbara from famed director Christian Petzold tells the suspenseful story of an East German doctor faced with the consequences of her wish to defect to the West.

The film is in German with English subtitles and will be introduced by German Ph.D. student. Tegan White-Nesbitt. There will be an in-depth discussion on Nov. 1 with faculty and students.
