Annual Ilene Busch-Vishniac Lecture: Winjie Miao

Winjie Miao '98, the senior executive vice president and chief experience officer at Texas Health Resources, will give the 2019 Ilene Busch-Vishniac Lecture, entitled "Transforming Healthcare in the US: A Personal(ization) Journey."

The endowed Ilene Busch-Vishniac Lecture was established in 2003 to celebrate the contributions of former Dean Ilene Busch-Vishniac, the first and still only female Whiting School dean. The goal of the lecture is to feature outstanding women in engineering sciences and highlight the intellectual contributions of the lecturers while inspiring young women to pursue degrees and careers in engineering.
