Description

Dr. Erling Norrby, vice chairman of the J. Craig Venter Institute and professor at the Center for History of Science, The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences, will give a special seminar entitled "Nobel Prizes and Discoveries on Cancer" for the School of Public Health and the Johns Hopkins Malaria Research Institute.

Norrby served as a member of the Nobel selection committee for years and has authored four books on the selection process and discoveries in science. Dr. Diane Griffin, professor of Molecular Microbiology with the Johns Hopkins Malaria Research Institute, will host.
