Description

Can you predict whether your school is safe? Why do some schools feel safe while others don't? How can you reduce the risk of violence and trauma in your school? In an era of school violence, cyberbullying, and mental health stressors, what tools are needed to build resiliency in our schools?

Join the Center for Safe and Healthy Schools for a lively discussion with Dr. Jonathan Links, the university's vice provost and chief risk and compliance officer. He will share his research on the groundbreaking COPEWELL community-resilience systems model that the Center for Safe and Healthy Schools plans to adapt to create SCHOOLWELL, a safe and healthy schools model at the public-school level.

A reception will follow.
