Four Johns Hopkins scholars discuss the root causes of the ongoing democratic protests in Hong Kong and future direction of the protests.

Speakers include:

  • Anne Applebaum, columnist for the Washington Post and senior fellow at the SNF Agora Institute at Johns Hopkins
  • Giovanna Dore, professor of political economics
  • Ho-Fung Hung, professor of political sociology
  • Andrew Mertha, director of SAIS China Studies.
