Experts from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies share their perspectives on U.S. foreign policy under Trump and where it might go in the future. Presented on behalf of the Henry A. Kissinger Center for Global Affairs at SAIS, this event will also preview the undergraduate courses the presenters will teach at Homewood during the spring 2020 semester.
Speakers are:
- Hal Brands, distinguished professor of global affairs
- Andrew Mertha, professor of China studies and director of the China Studies Program
- Adria Lawrence, associate professor of international studies and political science
- Matthias Matthijs, assistant professor of international political economy
Lunch will be provided.
This event will be followed by the an evening talk by alums Robert Work, MA '93, former deputy secretary of defense, and Richard Fontaine, MA '02, CEO of the Center for New American Security, who will discuss the future of war and America's relationships with China and Russia.
