Description

Fayez Mustafa al-Sarraj, chairman of the Presidential Council of Libya and prime minister of the government of national accord of Libya, will give a talk entitled "Governing in a Post-Conflict Country in Transition" for the School of Advanced International Studies.

Since 2011 and the fall of the Gaddafi regime, Libya has been facing a difficult and often violent transition. Fayez Mustafa al-Sarraj will share his experience in governing in such difficult post-conflict circumstances since assuming office at the end of 2015, the prospects for the future of Libya, and what the U.S. and international community can do to assist.
